The CE label is not the deciding factor
The CE label is a sign that it meets the European standards of safety and an important factor to consider when making purchasing decisions but in our view it is not the deciding factor. A hose reel's primary function is as a means of keeping the hose off the floor. The deciding factor for how well it is going to serve its purpose is how user friendly it is. In other words the more it gets used, the less hose you have on the floor. Only then are you getting your full money's worth from your investment. The safety features, ease of use and increased technical possibilities are guiding principles in our development work. Below you will find not only new possibilities of how a hose reel can be used but also a description of those components that make Ergoreels safer and easier to use.
1. Electronic latch system Pull out the exact length you need and stop. It's as easy as that. There are no moving mechanical parts so there is no disturbing noise and you don't have to search for the locking position. Hold the hose still for a second and the light indicator turns off, confirming the motor is switched off. 2. Circuit board The intelligence in Ergoreels, controls the functions of the motor through signals from a sensor on the side of the reel. Ready to accept both switch- and remote control systems. 3. Motor Provides a constant low retraction speed. Allows electronic control of unwinding and rewinding. 4. Enclosed circuit board Standard on all stainless steel models. The outer casing of the reel and the enclosed version of the circuit board allows you to use Ergoreels in very wet and humid environments. 5. Stainless steel shaft & swivel Standard on all Ergoreels. No corrosion means less leakages and less maintenance. 6. Torque limiter Allows you to pull out the hose with a constant, very low retraction force and to adjust optimal tension according to the weight of the hose you are using. Saves the motor as the torque limiter simply slips if the hose is restrained. Motor will then be switched off in a second or two. 7. Remote control You can connect the remote control directly to the circuitboard. Allows you to control not only the rewinding and unwinding of the reel but also a number of other functions. Turning the media on/off, change of pressure. Mount the reel in the ceiling and call down the hose. 8. Switch control Connect a switch control to the circuit board and you can control rewinding and unwinding of the reel by simply pressing the button. Perfect when mounting the reel in the ceiling. Also available in an adjustable version allowing you to preset the hose length you require, eliminating tension completely!
